The Franzen-Company in the changing times

In the year 1895 Johannes I. established a small farrier. He developed the so called "Eifelhöhenpflug" (= "Eifel-heights-plough"). They were sold until 1920.

In 1931 blacksmith Johannes II. continued the forge.
In 1947 Johannes III: enlarged the offered products to special agricultural followers and shelf-systems. After he died in 1983 his son, mechanical engineer Johannes IV. took over the company. Already in 1991 he tinkered with an chain saw sharpener. Three further patents followed.

Another area of responsibility today is the special-mechanical-engineering. We are waiting anxious what Johannes V. will develop in future…

The Company today

Our company has enlarged to an nine-headed team. Also the number of products offered has enlarged. Today it comprises:

Own developments:	- Chain Sharpener SA 6	- manufacture of special machines
	- lawn-mower-blade-sharpener MS 1	- supplier for automotive industry
	- ultrasonic-units (trade)	- conveyor belts / -technics
	- Dinasaw-Chain-Sharpener (trade)	- steel construction
	- Chains and bars (trade)

For own developments in the meantime we could announce some patents. In the past as well as today our company works innovative and with technical advanced machines.
