The 1,000st SA 6

17 years have passed since we have presented our first Franzen sharpening machine SA 6 at the Gafa in Cologne (Köln, Germany).

After long developments, lots of skeptic to the point of rejection in the beginning we have asserted on the market, convinced the skeptic and showed our 1,000 chain saw sharpening machine SA 6 at the GaFa in Cologne 2008 (Köln, Germany).

Today the SA 6 is not only recommended by STIHL and other leading small-engine producers but also is presented in the customer training and chain development at STIHL!

Today we produce an average of approx. 120 machines per year.

The "Forest Machine Pro" (Note: well known german forest magazine) writes in his November 2008 issue: "During the Wolfegger Forest Days (Note: those are held end of September after the GaFa show) Johannes Franzen presented the believe it or not onethousandst Chain Saw Sharpening Machine SA 6 from his production; although in the beginning lots of "smart" people prognosticated him that he would not even sell five units of this machine. Well, meanwhile he has disposed over 1,000 machines. The exposed number 1,000 is painted in a special airbrush-technique, which not only optically perfect imitates an wooden surface: the SA 6 also feels as if it is manufactured from wood, the surface clones the grain and structure of the natural material deceptiv-real. Unfortunately this Chain Saw Sharpening Machine will be an unsaleable sample."
