Summer ends and slowly but surely service work on lawn mowers has to be done. Of course the customers want to receive their mowers as fast as possible and of course expect professionally grinded blades and perfect service.
We developed the automatic blade sharpener MS 1 to ensure that your work is as easy as possible.
After you dismantled the blade at the beginning of your service work, you are able to clamp it directly to the sharpener and grind it automated. Your set-up time is very short and a lot shorter than working by hand. You can also work at a lawn mower during the automatic grinding process. Through the unique clamping device, which achieves an equal grinding result for both sides of the blade, you do not need to balance the blade after grinding and so you are able to do other settings very fast without loosing time. The blade is grinded absolutely precise and professional.

The MS 1 is a grinding machine, which allows you to grind lawnmowerblades, chipperblades, flails (flailblades), beetblades (HOLMER), deltablades/ thicketblades automated.

The machine is conceived like this: reffering to multiple-cutting-edge-systems you start grinding the side, which is more attritioned, and take the received grinding-depth as a target for the second side. As far as there are no bigger damages on the blade our grinding results save you from balancing out the blade (difference < 5 gr. ).
Because of the symetrical mechanical construction you are able to change from right- to leftturning blades without loosing time.

In the range of flailblades DÜCKER- as well as SPEARHEAD- and MULAG-flails of all kind of material-quality are grindable in one working cycle. Depending on the kind of flail up to 3 DÜCKER-flails can be handled at the same time.


The construction of the machine makes it possible to fix all blades very easy. All receptions are mounted fast and easy.

Parallelism can be checked by a laser. The grinding can be done along the construction edge or the natural-attrition-edge.

The grinding angle can be easily adjusted to your personal demands, because of the angle scale. Because of the only for this use developed pot-grinding-wheel you achieve a type of grinding, which is equal to the first grinding. With the used pot-grinding-wheel you get a firmness that reduces your costs in comparison to the grinding with a ribbon-grinder up to 50%.

A water-sprinkle-cooling can be used for cooling. The cooling is connected to the control system and turns off with the automatic machine stop. The sprinkled water evaporates during the grinding process, so that no reception tub for the dirty water is needed. Additonally we recommend our FRANZEN-cooling-liquid, which is given to the water with 2-3%. The sprinkled water bonds the grinding dust to a not clinging, not crusting, "fluffing" and consequently very easy cleanable grinding dust.

The machine can be used in manual and automatic operation. During the automatic operation the grinding-steps are regulated automatically. After completion of the grinding process the machine stops automatically.

The operation of the control system is, reffering to the known system of our SA 6, very easy to understand properly. The programming of the control system avoids any false operation.
